4Dancing to Be Still
with Lindsay Fovargue
Combining Body Psychotherapy, mindfulness practices and healing expression though free, authentic and optional, structured movement to music. A sensitive, fun practice suitable for all physical abilities, with attention to self-regulation (including the effects of emotional trauma) which can be translated and applied according to your existing expertise. This is an experiential week, requiring no particular fitness or knowledge aside from your skills in supporting wellness and a willingness to drop ‘story’. The practice supports self-responsibility, your own pacing and style. It invites no judgement! You will experience sessions of movement and lead sessions with guidance – on self-regulation cycles, use of music, emotional and physical safety, meditations and other exercises.
